Thissen, Mr_and Mrs Glenn Lanferman of Fort Dodge; _Mrs Stella Hauptman of Charles City; Miss Kathleen Briggs of Kansas City, Mo.; Mr and Mr. Walser Woods, Mr and Mrs Merle Woods of Algona. The five daughters who came from a distance were Mr and Mrs John Arens, Charles City; Mrs Madelyn Hut cheng of Fort Worth, Texas; Mr. Jack Thissen of Torrance, Caif, Mr.and Mrs Bert King and Debbie Sue of San Francisco Cality and Mr and Mrs Harry Bat ton of Algona and one son “Bud Hauptman, wife and children of Bancroft. “Dimes” Gete $246 $246.21 was reprized from the March of Dimes have conducted last week. Auxiliary members who helped in the “Mother's March” included the Mesdames Nyla Newbrough, Mary Low Studer, Rita Rické, Pauline Pfef fer, Clara Erdman, Mary For burger, Helen Johnson, Jo Meuri er, Myrtle Lease, Shirley Bruns, Jo Bartley, Jéannine Ackerson, Irene Lickteig, Louisa Becker, Ruth Youngwirth, Bernadine Hamilton, Mary Reliing and Vic Studer. The workers were serv ed lunch by Mary Lot’ Studer and Nyla Newbrough at the lat ter's home after their drive. Fifth Birthday Ann Walker was honored on her 6th birthday Tuesday, Jan. 28 by a group of playmates who attended her party at the Jim Walker home. The guests were Audra Young wirth, Karla Newbrough, Cecelia and Teresa Bartley and Lynn and Janet Studer, Little Miss Ann received beautiful birthday gifts and her mother served a delicious lunch New Grandson Mr and Mrs J. P. Hauptman have a new grandson, who was born to Mr. and ..Mrs Virgil Kunkel of Bancroft Tuesday, Jan. 28 at St. Ann hospital, Al gona. Mrs Kunkel is the former Ruth Hauptman and they now have a family of 4 sons and 2 daughters.
