First Case of Sleeping Sickness inMi. PleasantEvan Weidman came up from Albion College Saturday with the basketball team from that place anticipating a double treat—that of meeting the C. M. N. tealm in a contest that evening, and paying a visit to his mother and sister. He was unable to play *and left the ‘‘gym” floor very sick. He was taken home and is adjudged to be afflicted with “sleeping sickness” A specialist of Ann Arbor University was called here Tuesday and confirmed Dr. C. D. Pullen's diagnosis to that effect. The case is said to, be in mild form and his restoration to health a matter of considerable time.
