I^idy of receiving a bribe to support a certain Senatorial candidate before thin legislature, has been thoroughly investigated, all witnesses and evidence obtainable relat-ing to the charge and the party accused being presented by able attorneys, and, after due consideration and deliberation, we, your committee, unanimously declare that the said charge is uufounded and false, and we hereby exonerate the said G. W. Leidy from the aforesaid charge.We herewith submit the testimony taken in this investigation, and make the same a part of this report.E. W. Tremont, Chairman.
