O BIT U Alii.%1 A KT1NPutty Cousin* was horn in Cuohoga bounty, Vt October 15, 1811, being bO years, 8 month* anti 8 data old at the time of her death which ocii'cd 'mi. 4 1802, When tail live years chi she j moved with tier parents tu Ohio whore she lived until she whs married to Andrew Maitin at Cleveland, Juno 28, 1828 M:e went with her husband to Mich, where they resided a short time and then followed the stream of emi-Krauts west and settled at Pulton, ill., in 1831 they attain emigrated west and settled in Illyria township, uyeUe county town, where they lived until 1873 when Mr. Martin's health failed tliev broke up housekeeping and lived around with their children for two years when they arranged for a permanent homo with their daughter Mrs, W. It. Benedict. Pathwi Martin was a veteran of 1812. H« died March 0, 1885 at the advanced age of 1U0 years.Mother Martin united with ti.e Hap tist church and was baptized lit the spring of 1842. but of late years there being no church of her choice near, she has been u consistent member of the U. H. church. There was born unto father ^ud mother Martin seven sons and three daughter*; five of the sons passed nw»y before the death of their father. The living children are Joshua it. Martin who lives at Pipestone, Minn. Sam*! Martin, Sumner, Iowa. Mrs. Win. Benedict and Mrs. John Vonhel of thu place and Mrs. Thomas Marnley of Wadena. She leaves three brothers and one sister; Chester Cousins in Arizona, Cline. Cousins in Mo. Levi Cousins and Mrs. Joo Mitchell of this place.
