Vice President Dave Pratt opened the January meeting of the Eldena Wonder Workers 4-H Club by leading the club in the pledges to the American and 4- H flags. A swimming party was held Jan. 28 at the Ramada Inn from 7 to 9p.m. Reports were given by Rita Humphrey on the Square Dance, Dave Book on the bas ketball team, 2nd Sue Bothe on the Federation dance. A tobog gaming committee was set up with Bill Kaecker as chairman. Talks were given by Sue Bothe, Rita Humphrey, Linda Hum phrey and Greg Giese. Demon strations were given by Ed Con derman. The meeting was ad journed and refreshments were served by the Kaecker and Coers families, teacher aides and two special educators will be assigned to the nursery. The other teacher aides and a special educator will be assigned to two DSS cot tages for the infirm (A-In firmary I and III). Michael Tucker, special edu cator and assistant coordinator of Title I projects at DSS, is in charge of the weekly in-service training for the teacher aides and special educators. In addi tion, Tucker and Activity Ther apy Associate Mary Lack are developing a sequential curric ulum designed to meet individ ual needs of the residents, ac cording to Mrs. Andrews. Dixon State School employe Vickie Day helps a young ster learn to count, MRS. MARILYN SMITH, activity therapy aide at Dixon State School, helps small resident Annie Daggett dress herself.
