When the building, occup-I ied by the bank and the Bon Ton.was burned, in June, 1934, theclock was saved, but was setback in the bank and remained .there until a few days ago, when some one conceived the idea of placing it on the front wall (out side} of the postoffice, so the hank gave the clock, J. D Scotr j did the wiring, Postmaster Nor-, man Scblemmer pays for thp electricity, and Ed howard did the | work of installing- and he wants1you to know he is the one who,1 while the fire was raging, and shooting out the bank windows, on the night the building burn-1ed, who had the courage to get Ithe clock off the wall, at the!; risk of getting burned himself, | and now he was selected to putjt up—both jobs gratis.UAU/’C VAIID DCOCANII ITV!»
