Page FourGirls’ Basketball Gets Under Way In Round Robin- iFir t Gamei Played Last Week With Harlem Globe Trotters a id Oklahoma Indians Leading.Pound Robin tournament in pills’ basketball is now in progress. The first games played wereMonday, January 25, with the House of David losing to the Harlem Globe Trotters by a 28-19 score. Leah Osborne was high point maker for the House of David with a total of nine points. Blanche Johnson led the winners by scoring fifteen points. Officialsfor the game were Sterling, referee, and Dahl, umpire.In the second game of the evening the Terrible Swedes defeated the Harlemites, 22-15. Seiden-sticker scored twenty points for the winning side, and Saurey was high for the losers with six points to her credit. Miss Hamer actedas referee, and Sterling was um-pire.Thursday, January 28, the Oklahoma Indians defeated the Terrible Swedes by a 22-12 score.
