Wheeler of this city, and who for some time resided here, died at the residence of his daughter at Galena, Kansas, Sunday afternoon. Had he lived until tomorrow he would have been 82 years of age.Mr. Salmon was for many years a resident of Green castle, where he was well known. He has two daughters in Galena, Mrs. Carney and Mrs. Miller, and his son Webb also resides nearthere. He will be buried in Galena.
