The Herald was in error in announcing the death of Joseph R. Wheeler at Des Moines Sunday. The telegram came to J. B. Wheeler an* nouucing the death of ufather,” and was signed by a Wheeler. The “father” referred to was James Salmon, whose death is mentioned to elsewhere. The mistake was a natural one.
