Services set for Ercanbrack youth this FridayFuneral services for Darrell Jay Ercanbrack, 21, Roosevelt will be held Friday noon in the Ballard Ward Chapel Church of Jesus Christ of Lat ter-day Saints. He died Sunday abouL 1:30 p.m. *of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Sheriff Norman Fletcher of Uintah County, and Leonard Ferguson of the Utah Highway Patrol who conducted th* Investigation. The body was discovered in the chicken coop when the hoy’s mother, Ethel Davis Ercanbrack wentabout routine chore of feeding tlu* chickens, Mr. Ercanbrack is in California at the time of his son s death.He was born March 28, 1939, at Eureka, Utah, a son of Wes-I* S Bartholomew, and Eva Ma urine Evans E rca n b ra c k He was in the care of foster parents, Mr, and Mrs. R. \V. Sherwood, Salt Lake City, At the age of 8 years he Look tip residence with his father and stepmother in Ballard, with whom he lived until time of his death.He attended Elementaryschools at Vernon, Tooele County; Wasatch Junior High School, from which he graduated in 1958. He also attended a floral school in Denver, and was an active member of the church, holding the office of a priest.Survivors include his father, step-mother, Ballard; mother, Mrs, George Reeves, Long Beach, Calif.; brothers, sisters, Gary Richard, Long Beach; Mrs. Lew (Tamyrai Pollan, Elsinore, Calif; Terry Ralph, Anita, Curtis, Val, Bcvcn, Kevan, all of Roosevelt; grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Boyd Evans, Long Beach; Mrs Otis L. Ercanbrack, Wallsburg.Friends may call at the family home Thursday from 4:00 to 9 00 p m. and at Olpin Mortuary Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Roosevelt City cemetery.
