Alberni Inlet Monster4TzartmaurusSeenPORT ALBERNI—'Tiartu-saurus” has made an appearance in Alberni Inlet.A monaler with qualities Comparable to those of Victoria's Cadboroaaums and Kelowna's Ogopogo. It has been sighted frequently during the past few months by crew and passengers of theAlberni Marine Transportation Ltd. vessel Lad? Rose.Although he has never seen the creature in its entirety, John Monrufet of Marine Transportation said he la certain that it is over 90 feet in | length. The color, he aald, is not that of a whale or blade-fish.The monster appears to inhabit the inlet between Pocahontas Rode and Chup Point. The latter point is close to Tiartus Island. Kildonan real dents have also reported seeing Tzartusaurus and one resident of the village said he oh tained a dear view of the creature from a plane.Persons aboard the Lady Rose have sometimes seen Tsartumunis twice in one day At other times ha does notmake an appearance for ft period of several days.The turmoil made by the creature in the water has impressed most of the travellers.While Mr. Monrufet has suggested that there is probably no great mystery surrounding Txartusa urns' identity, othen ding to various theories, soma bordering onthe fantastic.
