EARLY SETTLERBURIED FRIDAYThe funeral of Daniel Corey, who died January 25, was held in the home on Friday afternoon, January 27. Services were conducted by the Rev. S. M. Zike, pastor of the United Brethren church. Mrs. Paul Castle, Mrs. Lloyd Wilson, Merle Creekmur and Mr, Zike sang two hymns. Burial was in Arlington I cemetery. The pallbearers were .Calvin Everhart, Chris Drevs, Will Drevs, Carl Wilier, Joe Hart and Ross Grau. lt;Daniel Corey was born in St. Cleer Parish, near Liscord, Cornwall, England, November 23, 1860. He died in Moville, Iowa, January 25, 1933, aged 72 years, 2 months, 2 days.On April 3, 1885, Mr. Corey and Isabella Faull were united in marriage. They came to America in , 1888 and located in Chickasaw r county, Iowa. A year later they r moved to Woodbury county and i this has been their home since.Surviving are his widow; a son, I Melville; and three sisters in Eng-z land.
