At Harriet, Nicholas County, is Recommended by Rep resentative Gaines. WASHINGTON, D. C., Feb. 2— Representative Gaines as recom mended the establishment of a new post ofice at Harriet, Nicholas coun ty, six miles from Vaughan, with A. #. Willams as postmaster. The following forth class seat Masters have been appointed: Nel son M. Patton at Guthrie, Kanawha county, vice B. I. Robertson, resign ed; Hank Meadows at Shrewsbury, Kanawha county, vice B. F. Backus, Mrs. Louie Sewards at Spears, Lin coln county, vice H. S. Spears. The post office at Paxton, Clay county, Naa heen moved a mille and 4 half southwest f of the former lo cation. The postoffice department has an nounced the establishment of the following postoffices in West Vir giia: Dreddy, Webster county,” with George M. McFarlane as post master; Droop, Pocahontas county, with James R. Seldomridge as post master; Kingston, Payuite county, With David A. Plane as postmas ter; Kowan, Webster county, with Theodore G. Gregory as postmaster; Sawyers, Greenbrier county, wth James J. Sawyers as postmaster; twin Mountain, Grant county, win William P. Rasseld as postmaster. The following nostofices have had’ their names changed: Angel, Ka nawha county, to Brounland; Cur ls, Lincoln county, to ‘Redwing; Rome, Kanawha county, to Alum Creek.
