Law- jron, Deputy Sheriff, and a man :named Bolin. There had been bad 1feeling between the partieslfor sometime. Lawson was a Justice of, the Peace in the Jellico district while Bolton was marshal. Numerous conflicts arose over the , jurisdiction of cases, and several ; times one side had taken prisoners j from the other.
