The murderer was promptly arrested, but while on the way to jail he was taken from tho officers by a mob of angry moo who lost no timB in shooting him to death. That night all the negro saloons and barber shops were get* ted by a mob, and twelve disreputable characters warned to have the State immediately. It was rejiorled here on \V edncMay that one of these parties who was hmlhardy enough lo remain, wis caught and hung on Tuesday night.
