Obituary Notices.Mrs. P. Parsons.—Death is depriving us of many valuable members on the Flint Hill Circuit. Within the last few months, four have been taken from our community, among whom was Sister I hebe Pargons. She was the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Ward, and was born in Randolph county, V a., April 14th. 1809: was married to Thomas Parsons Novembei 14th 1826, and joined the Methodist Church about the year 1830, ‘She removed with her husband and family to Franklin county, Mo., m the fall ot 1839, and two years after settled in St-Charles county, where they raised a large and industrious family of nine children, some of whom are, however, in theirSster1 Parsons has long been well and favorably known as a consistent and devout member ox the Methodist Church. Her husband, d) ing some seven years ago, left her a large and responsible charge, but. assisted by her eldest son, the affairs of the estate andfamily have been well managed.The disease that ended her life was violent and rapid in the execution of its work, and it is to be re rrettod that nothing was said to her on the subject ot death or her readiness to meet it; her life of piety is however, the best assurance of its happy end.She died (all her children being present) on Monday morning, Jan. 2d, 1860.: a Robt.
