MYERS has been Dean of the New York State College of Agriculture at Cornell Universitysince njpp He is well known to the fanners of New York State and ol the nation as well. In 1933, at the request oi President Roosevelt, he developed a program to refinance debt-burdened farmers and to combine separate federal credit agencies into one. Until 1938 he served as Governor of the Farm Credit Administration. Mr. Myers is Chairman oi the National Agricultural Advisory Commission, a member ol (he New York Stale Commission on Agriculture, and Chairman of the State Agric ultural Advisory Committee on the Savings Bonds Program. 1 le is on the Boards ol at least ten corporations and is a Trustee of, among other organizations, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Ceneral Education Board, and the Carnegie Institution ol Washington. On VassaCs Board Mr. Myers serves on the Committees on Faculty and Studies, Business Administration, and Undergraduate 1 ale. Histerm expires in 19%.JOHN W. Committee for UN Day, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Eisenhower Ext Inc. l ie is also a Trustee of the Edward \\. lla/en Foundation and o( Phillips Exeter Academy.
