A verdict of guilty of murder without malice was returned by the jury Saturday morning at 9:35 am. in the Don Black murder trial which has been in session at the Gregg County Court House for the past three days. The jury fixed Black's sentence penalty to five years. The defense has two days in which to file motion for a new trial.
