Aged Minister Passes OnAfter active service in the ministry of the gospel for nearly fifty years, Klder Jas. YV. Bradley died at the home of his son, (). K. Bradley, near Kthcl last Friday, being at the time of his death 85 years, a months and 4 days old As he spent most of his life in Macon county, he was well known and his devoted Christian lile endeared him to all who knew him In 1856 his parents, Thomas *ind Susan Bradley, natives of Kentucky, settled where the town of (ioldsberry ! now stands. He entered the Con-', federate army in 1861 and serv Jed until the close of the v ;ir.He was married to Miss Anna Clary May 14, 1871. Nine children were born to them: John, ot Youngstown, Ohio; Samuel and Mrs C, I). Miller, of Cedar Rapids, Idw'a; Silas of Spring-I field, Iowa; Mrs. Frank Baker land Kd of, Bucklin, Mo: Mrs.Hugh Borron, of New Boston, Mo.; YV. N., (if I nion, 111., and (). F ol Ktliel, Mo.His wile died April 20, 1969.'■ He was married to Mrs. Hat j riette H. Burgher Sept 16, 1916; she died Feb. 26, 1922.| W hen he was about 55 vcar-ot .ige he united with the Pnmi-tive Ba|)tist church and ten years later was ordained to the ministry ot the gospel, in which , service he has b^en faithful. He| is survived by one brotner, I j ; AI.
