Wilson had confiscated two barrels of wine found in the oorn | crib on the farm where Harry* ■j Averal, who is now here in jail, resided, three miles northeast of 11 i Colchester. Suspicions had set-f) tied on the crib as a hiding place L‘ for various spoils and the owner I of the corn was advised to re-' !move it owing to the liklihood of ° of its being stolen. In that way L‘ the officers sought to uncover the hidden goods. The load prov-ed to be too her.vy after the return trip to Colchester was started and some of the liquid was * noured out. .Details are lacking l but upon the return of Deputy Wilson to Macomb, more regjird-ing the matter will probably be. made public tomorrow.— v‘mHarry Averal appeared before Judge Waggoner in circuit court 'this morning pleaded guilt^tp a charge of receiving stolen prop*1 crty. He was sentencedto a sen* ‘jtence of from one to ten'years in . the penitentiary at Joliet. Averal was involved in the theft of jftu-tomobile tires ~Trom Burlington freight cars, the same case in** which Fred Wayland pleaded guilty yesterday and received a sentence of from one to twenty years at Joliet. He is unmarried and was a coal miner at the Atkinson coal bank near Colchester.(t was at the shack where he lived that many of the stolen tires were recovered.Holler Case Tomorrow.The Holler will case, account of which has been given when it was in other courts, will be heard by Judge Waggoner tomorrow. The case will consist of evidence and arguments bv attorneys on the matter of probating the alleged last will of the late Eli Holler of Bardolph.
