Morning Song’*..........MoffatHigh School Chorus.Hy request of the debaters judges were named -three true and tried men: Rev. I.W. Smith, Rev. V\ K. Dickinson, Rev. A. lt;Ormond, who gave a majority decision in favor of the negative.Mr. Arehy Campbell, president of the Uuird of education, was present, also Mr. F. M. Aungat. whose son Grover is a member of the freshman class.The fever for debate is now the char-arteristic of the literary exercises, it i a very proper and profitable outlet for all enthusiasm that should be felt in all work where the young are leaders. The visitors were pleased wit h the spirit of 1 he exercises and spoke most highly of all the debaters,remarking that there w«s evidence of research. They were more than pleased with the music. Already there is a manifest reward for the umo given to this branch of study. Music is now a required study in thlt; grades.
