MANY HOLIDAY AFFAIRS GIVENDances and Parties in Gettysburg Mark the Holiday Season. Town Homes Scenes of Pretty Social Events.Several pleasant social affairs were given in Gettysburg on Thursday evening.Miss Goldie Widrier entertained at a masquerade dance at her home on West Middle siroct. There were about twenty guests, all of whom were in fancy dress. Several of the costumes were unusually pretty. The guests were Misses Helen Hupp, Ivy Tavvney, Genevieve Hamer, Marie King, Eva Eberbart, Jennie Althoff, Stella Raffensperger, Grate Berger, | Margaret Mcllhenny, Janet Marshall, ; Pauline Rndisil1 Messrs Calvin Hart- j man, George Hartman,Maurice Stans-bury, Maurice Baker,Edward Swisher.
