Cambridge Curlers Enjoy Sport on Fresh Pond Rink. —The good old Scotch game of curling as practiced by the Boston Curling club Was an attraction that called together any devotees of the sport at the Presh Pond rink last Monday. The weather conditions were such that the ice was in perfect condition, and from nine in the morning uoul dark the rinks were thronged.There were no set matches that we joined in the fun. Several games were played by well known experts, however, and Mr. Oliver J. Briges of this city met with his first defeat in twenty-eight consecutive games, Laineh was served at noon and supper as darkness setrin. After supper the club was presented with a statue of a curler in the act of throwing the stone, from the sculptor, Mr. John Purley of East Cambridge. This was a most creditable piece of work. Among those present at the club dur ing the day were: Min and Mrs. Thomas Wilson, Mr. and Mes, Isaac Harris, Dr. and Mrs. John Sullivan, Mr. 8. 1h Mitch ell and Miss Sullivan, Mr .D.
