MORA M. BARNETT Mrs. Mora M. Barnett, 64, of Dundalk, Md., died Thursday at the Downtown Division of Monongalia General Hospital. She was born July 1, 1908, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late John and Florence Adams Robey. She was preceded in death by the first husband, James Hilling, in 1942, and her second husband, Oris Barnett, in 1965. She is survived by three sons, James. Marvin and David Hilling, all of Dundalk: two daughters, Mrs. Florence Wolfe of Morgantown and Mrs. Janet O’Brien of Glen Gurnie, Md.: four brothers, Clarence and Carl Robey of Pittsburgh: William Robey of San Jose, Calif., and Ernest Robey of Blacksville: four sisters Mrs. Pearl Stump of Las Vegas, New Mrs. Betty Rotunno of Orlando, Fla.. Mrs. Doris Kenney of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Mrs. Marion Wheeler of Saratoga, Calif.; also 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren MRS. CLARA ADELENE SCHAFFER Mrs. Clara Adelene Schaffer, 53, of Martin River, Ontario, died Thursday in the St. Joseph Hospital in North Bay, Ontario. She was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Freeman and Ethel Feather Miller. She and her husband owned and operated the O-Pee-Chee Hunting and Fishing Camp in Martin River. She was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a WAVE from 1944-1946. Surviving are her husband, Richard Schaffer, one step daughter, Mrs. Roy Weaver of Ohio; two brothers, James Miller and Dailey Miller, both of Kingwood; four sisters, Mrs. Helen J. Morehead of Boca Raton, Fla., Miss Lora Miller of Washington, Mrs. Mabel V. Westerman of Parkersburg and Mrs. Dortha L. Wilson of St. Petersburg, Fla., a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be returned to the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, where arrangements are incomplete. EMSIE POST Emsie Caroline Post, 82, of Detroit, Mich., died Friday. She has been making her home with her sister, Mrs. Luna Mason Deveny at 450 Linden St. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Troy, Mich. She was born June 19, 1890, at Fairmont, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Elsie Mae Robinson Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Late C. Post, in 1929; and one brother, Arnold Mason. Survivors include one son, Raymond Late Post of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. O. H. (Sylvia) Williams of Eugene, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Luna Mason Deveny of Morgantown; one brother, Wilbur Mason of Charleston; four grandchildren. CORA GARLOW Cora L. Garlow, 89, of Maidsville died Friday at Williams Rest Home in Clarksburg after a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 22, 1883, in Monongalia County, a daughter of the late John M. and Maria Cushman Garlow. She was a member of the Methodist faith. Survivors include three nephews, Herbert Garlow of Cleveland, Ohio, Kenneth of Morgantown and Roger of San Ferno, Calif.; one niece, Mrs. Emma Lu Shiro of San Ferno, Calif. MINNIE HOLMES Minnie May Holmes, 72, of Smithfield, Pa., died at University Hospital Friday She was preceded in death by her husband Gay H. Holmes in 1960. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Louis (Katheleen) G. Sherman of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, George Eisner of Friendsville, Md.; four grandchildren; 14 great-grand children. Friends may call at the Maybuth Funeral Home in Masontown, Pa., from 7-10 p.m. Saturday; and from 2-4 and 7-10 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Charles Berkshire officiating. Burial will be at Gladesville.
