HILTON]I' “1 ■ i*Funeral services were held Fri-'j clay afternoon at 2 o’clock in the'j Martin Funeral Home for Mrs- j Emma Hilton, 77, who died Wednesday at the Ennnetsburg hospital after a'long illness. Dr! F.; j T. Mayer-Oakes, .. pastor of; the1 First Congregational church, officiated at the services. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery with the j j Martin Funeral home in charge of tlie arrangements. 'Pallbearers were Harley'Wilson, i Harry Slonicker, Harry Brown.|-Bert DamstrOm,- John Thackerand Gordon Carpenter.-Mrs. Hilton, a resident of this community for 5S years, was born in Madison; Wis. on June 29, 1871- As a young -woman she was] united-in marriage to Hans H.: Hilton. Six children were bora to this, marriage. Mr.- Hilton and, three children, Ray,' Stella and | Frank, a world War 11 casualty,.: preceded her In death. Through-' out her life. Mrs. HU ton's first interest was in her family and their; ! welfare. . ■ ;She' leaves three children. Ed-1 ward’ Hilton of Emmetsburg, Walter Hilton of Mason City. Mrs. A. C. Ball of. Oak Dale, Cal. and one | sister, Minnie J. Anderson.
