Judge Walker Relieved.Tqe now celebrated (local) dog case which has been pending in Judge J. W. Walker’s court, and which was to have come up for trial last Thursday, has been settled out of court, to the great mental relief of the judge.After a very careful investigation of the case Mrs. F. W. Moore became convinced that she had been grossly imposed upon by the party who sold her the dog, and sent a letter to the court stating that she would not contest the case.Mrs Nellie Beye, to be equally generously agreed to pay tne court costs, and Judge Walker dismissed the ease.The suit, while amusing, was friendly throughout, and was merely for the purpose of determining the rightful ownership of the conine.
