Obituariescontinued from page 11LIDA E. POPHAMLida Eugenia Popham, 90, of Hanson Rd., died Dec. 23, at Stamford Hospital. She was the widow of Audrey Popham. They were married nearly 65 years.Born in Hutchinson, Kansas on April 16, 1887, Mrs. Popham was the daughter of Josiah Francis and Mae Butler Colborn.She is survived by a brother and a sister, George Colborn and Mrs. Fred Fenyes of Coral Springs, Fla.; another brother, James Colborn of Danville, Illinois; a daughter, Miss Shirley Popham of Hollywood, Fla., and a son, Richard R. Popham of Darien.A private memorial service will be given by Rev. Claude Peters ct the Talmadge Hill Community Church. Edward Lawrence Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Talmadge Hill Community Church, New Canaan.
