Craiglow was sooh thrown from his horse, find, one of his feet heccmeing fast in the stirrup, he was dragged over the ground .** •tislaneo of two or three hundred vards before his foot became de inched. He was taken up by some persons who saw the occurrence and conveyed to the residence of Asa Mo rehead, near by, and revived such attention as the case demanded. Hi* injuries were chiefly upon the bead, which was dreadfully cut and bruised ar.d one side of the body, which was literally credited in. The wretched man had life in him till 0 o’clock, when he expired. The other man did net stop until he had ridden a mile or more, and. then, on manifesting a disposition t return, wa*. by the individual ho had met and who saw the condition he was in. beaded towards his home, and continued on his way in that direction.A jury or inquest was summoned I by Coroner Hush, and a verdict re turned in accordance with the facts I stated.
