BUILDING BOASTS 1,100 VERY COMFORTABLE SEATSFamtia's beautiful new La Nora theatre, tlic Panhandle's finest movie palace, will be opened U* the public for the first time tomorrow evening* at 7 o’clock. The first picture will be “Morocco,* a Paramount production with Marlene Deltrlclu Gary Cooper, arid Adolplic Men jo u.Built by H. A. Gilliland, pioneer Pampa picture show operator, and leased and operated by Griffith Amusement company with C. B. Akers as manager, the new entertainment institution will draw, its patronage from a very wide territory. It has 1100'upholstered seats, lounging rooms for ladies and men on the mezzanine floor, ’the moist modern sound equipment, acoustical devices, and ventilating system, and a special talkie” cry room whchj mothers may take (heir babies and still see and hear the picture.Perfect ocountis and an even temperature winter and summer will add to the patrons1 pleasure. Mr, Gilliland spared 110 expense in providing the most modern movSo house. The contractor was Jolui-T,Glover, who has built some of Pampas finest structures. Gates Cor-gan, Griffith staff architect, designed the building and supervifcd construction,Griffith officials and managers will join the trek of people to the formal opening tomorrow. Price of admission on the opening night will be 10 cents for children and 50 cetith for adults, both downstairs and ill the balcony. Matinee prices in the new theatre will bo. 10 and 35 ccrits and night acbntesioh will bo 10, 35. and 50 cents, according to Manager C. B.
