It struck him and almost cut him in two, knocking him loose from the frog, leaving his foot fastened therein. Although terribly injured, lie lived just long enough to be taken to I’ort Jervis, dying as lie was carried into the presence of las v«Je au I child. This unfortunate man, a few weeks ago, fell from his train and received injuries from which he hud just recovered—tin* trip ou which he was killed Mug the flmt he had madw since getting around. His family is destitute.
