Claiviiee \\ illon Ban IniORRUM — Clarence Wilton Barden, 68, of Orrum Rt. 1, a retired farmer, died Wednesday in Duke Hospital. He was born in Robeson County.Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from Orrum Baptist Church, by the Rev. George Richman, assisted by Rev. Thomas Rich. Burial will follow in the Floyd Memorial Cemetery.The son of the late Frank Barden, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Atkinson Barden; his mother, Mrs. Lou Nye Barden; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Barden of Lum-berton, Mrs. Irene B. Davis of Wilmington; two sisters, Mrs. Hoyt McRae of Orrum and Mrs. Jay Lyles of Tonkawa, Okla.; three brothers, W. L. Barden of Orrum, Eutice N. Barden of Red Springs, H. Doak Barden of Henderson; 5 grandchildren.The body will remain at Prevatte Funeral Home until one hour prior to the service.The family request no flowers, in lieu of contributions to Orrum Baptist Church.
