Mrs. Anna Maresh, wife of Frank B. Maresh, died December 16, and was buried December 17, 1935. Mrs. Maresh was born in Czech oslovakia April 4, 1877. She came to Texas at the age of 18 and made her home near Nelsonville. October 27, 1897, she was mar ried to Frank B. Maresh with whom she lived happily for 38 years. To this union there were 10 chil dren born, all of whom survive— four sons, Frank, John, Welen and Otto, and six daughters, Mrs. Frank Lubajasky of Kenney, Mrs. Sadie Prasek of Crosby, Mrs. John Mikeska of Nelsonville, Mrs. J. D. May of Port Arthur, and Misses Frances and Lillie Mar esh of Nelsonville. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Franklin, Darvin, Evelyn and Del ton Lubajnsky and Franklin Mar esh; one brother, Steve Tillyk of Nelsonville, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Terezie Jurca of Buckholts. Mrs. Maresh reached the age of 58 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was a kind and loving mother. She was a devoted Christian. She was a member of the Brethern Church of Nelsonville, and the Ss. P. J. S. T. Lodge. A large circle of friends and relatives from far and near at tended the funeral of Mrs. Maresh. She was loved by those who knew her, because of her cheerful and pleasing disposition. Funeral services were held in the Brethern Church of Nelson ville, after which interment was made in the St. Anna Cemetery, near Nelsonville, with the Rev. F. H. Horak of Caldwell officiating. Pallbearers were Willie Lubojacky, Edwin Maresh, John G. Mikeska, B. W. Schiller, Frank Sebesta, and John W. Schiller. ~—Contributed
