Miss Ruth Pauline Dale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Dale, 713 be . H. Myers, near Marion, at a pretty home wed ding Christmas eve. The Rev. E. Winslow Brown, pastor of the Ken wood Park Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony in the presence of about forty relatives and egroom, was best man. Doran and Laur ence Dale, brothers of the bride, were ushers. The bride wore a turquoise flat crepe gown and carried an arm bouquet of pink carnations. Her only ornament was a crystal neck lace, a gift of the bridegroom. The bridemaid’s gown was of old rose silk flat crepe. Miss Theodora Miller played the wedding march and Miss Doris Graves sang “I Love You Truly” preceding the ceremony. The couple took their places beneath a bower of holiday greens. A Christmas tree formed the background A wedding supper was served fol lowing the ceremony, which also honored the bride's grandparents who were celebrating their forty seventh wedding anniversary. The bride was graduated from Washington high school in the class of 1931 and the bridegroom was graduated from the Springville high school. They will make their home with the bride’s parents afer a short honeymoon. The guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ludlow, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Wickham, Perry E. FE. Winslow Brown, Mr. and Mrs. John Lange and their children, Wilma, Glenn and Erma, Gifford Wickham, all of Springville, Mrs. William Myers and her son, Es telle, Marion, Mrs. H. M. Brighton, Valley Junction; Fred Rich and his children, Oscar and Hazel, Hawk eye, Mr. and Mrs. James Dale and their children, Evelyn, Doran Laur ence and Carol and Pred Little.
