Nathan Frankel is spending a few days with Cincinnati friends. Will Bonfire, Jr., and wife are vis iting relatives here this week. Mr. James Belcher spent Sunday with friends in Moores Hill. Miss Mabel Laws is visiting friends in Ingalls, Ind., this week. ” Miss Leesie Peters visited friends in North Vernon over Christmas. Ming Marie Hawkins is the guest of her father in Indianapolis this week. Miss Minnie Shook spent several days last week with Delaware friends. Misa Isabel Harper, of Cincinnati, visited Mrs. Gus Kohlmeier Sunday. Chris and Pearl Voss, of Cincinnati, spent part of this week with home folks. Miss Faye Wise is home for vaca tion with her mother, Mrs. John Wise, . Mrs. George Foster visited her par ents in Lawrenceburg several days recently. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. VanLeunen spent Christmas with friends in Per intown, O. Mr. Ralph Willenburg, of Love land, O., is the guest of friends here this week. Mrs. Golda Sutton and children, of Seymour, are visiting friends here at present. Miss Effie Wilson is spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Chica Wilson. Miss Gayle Powell visited her par ents, Dr. Charles Powell and wife from Sunday to Monday. Mr. Will Gerard is home from the Wem as the guest of his mother, Mrs. Emma Gerard. Dr. Givan and wife, of Dayton, are Christmas guests of Willis Givan and wife this week. Mr. Enoch Pendry, of Illinois, was visiting old friends in Milan Satur day and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Fuller, of Chi cago, are visiting their father, 8. R. Fuller this week. Mrs. John Wolgamot and son, of Kenton, 0., are guests are her sister, Mrs. Wm. Hensel. Mr. Will Uts, of Cincinnati, spent a few days this week with his moth er, south of town. Howard Bergdoll is home for a few days with his parents, Henry Bergdoll and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Will Mulford and children spent Monday with her par ents at Moores Hill. Mrs. David Miley, of Cincinnati, spent Christmas with her mother, Mrs. Louisa Arkenberg. Mr. Clarence Wise, of Waterloo, Ia., spent a few days last week with his mother, Mrs. John Wise. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Rollins, of Cold Springs, were Christmas shoppers in Milan one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. DB. C. Powell spent Christmas with Mr. Albert Streetman and mother in Cincinnati. George Bailey is home from Purdue University to spend the holidays with his mother, Mrs. Charles Bruce. Mr. Walter Nocks, of Columbuag O., was the recent guest of his broth er, Clade Nocks and family. Mrs. Walter Callahan, of Hartwell, C., visited over Christmas with her sister, Mrs. Lillie Hilenbrandt. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McLaughlin, of Cincinnati, spent several days with her mother, Mrs. Wm. Kaiser. Miss Hasel Johnson, of Middle town, CO., spent Christmas with her mother, Mrs. Andrew Johnson. Misses Elizabeth Peters and Ruth VanLeunen are spending Christmas vacation with their parents here. Missea Beatrice and Cecil Hensel, of Cincinnati, spent Sunday and Mon day with Wm. Hensel and family. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Connelley and children, of Osgood, visited Monday with James Connelley and family. Mrs. Rolla Howard and daughter Lucille of Aurora, spent Saturday and Sunday with Gus Levy and a family. Powell and children vis ited for several days with her mother, Mrs. Lila Cross who is now living in Cincinnati. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Blohmer and chil dren, of Covington, Ky., are spending this week with her mother, Mrs. Helen Ruble. Miss Marguerite Bergdoll returned recently from a pleasaant visit in Cin cinnati where she was entertained at a house party. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woolery left Saturday for Alton, Ill., where they will visit Mrs. Woolery’s sister, Mrs. Walter Scott and family. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Fleming enter tained Sunday, Will Fleming, wife and children, Mr. and Mrs. George Watking, of Elrod, and Mrs. Harry Truitt and daughter, of Cincinnati. Mr. and Mrs. Charles had as guests Sunday Dr. Alcedo Whit latch and wife, H.G. Abbott and wife and Misses Edith Koenig and Jean ette Levy, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Claypole hed as ‘guests Sunday Mrs. Sam Barclay and children of Rising Sun, and Mr. and Mrs. George Brewington and son Everett. The occasion was the 71st birthday of Mr. Claypole. Mr. Enoch Pendry, of Ill., was vis iting old friends in Milan Satur day and Sunday. Mr. Pendry was t here to interest the farmers in plant ing broom corn and will probably re turn next season to manufacture ‘brooms. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Kohlmeier enter tained Sunday. Misses Mary Thomp son, Jeanette Levy, Edna Austin, Edith Koenig, Effie Wilson and Isa belle Harper, of Cincinnati, also Messrs Thomas Thompson, Jr., Wal ter Kohlmeier, James Belcher, Ivor Fuller, Will Kohlmeier and, George Kohlmeier.
