A veky pretty surprise was perpetrated upon Miss Mabel Palmer at her home here Christmas afternoon. A Christmas tree had been arranged and a number of Mabel's little friends invited in to spend the afternoon with her. All present report a happy time. Among the guests was Mr. J. I), liuss, Mabel’s grandpa, and none enjoyed the gathering more than he did. The little folks passed the afternoon in singing, speaking and playing merry games. Among those present were: Misses Hazel Whitaker* Emma Fisher, Bonnie and Catherine Moore, Inez llug*a**, Edna Gorrell, Ethel Brudi, Sylvia S charmer horn; Mrs. Dr. Brudi, Mrs. «T. H. Brudi and baby, Mrs. Erk and daughter and Grandpa Buss.
