The Christmas trees at the Methodistand Presbyterian churches were well worth seeing. At llie Methodist church the principal /camres of the decoration were n large gill star surrounded by a cluster of smaller ones, with the word ••Morning” in a circle above: a representation «/ •‘Gates Ajar;” an arch with a chandelier of wax families suspended front the center, together with beautiful window decorations, mottoes, etc. The exercises were opened by music by the choir ami declamations and singing by the children. Mr. George Tilz acted as Santa Glaus and distributed the vast number of presents from oil' the tree.
