Conway?—A meeting of otir citizens was held at Council Hall* on last Saturday evening, to express their grief at the sudden death of this gentleman. We are compelled, much against our wish, to abridge the proceedings.— The following resolutions were adopted : Whereas, it has been announced that our much esteemed fellow citizen, William W. Conway, died after a short illness, on the 18th inst., at New Orleans, and that his remains are on the way to this place, therefore,Resolved, That we deeply sympathize with the relatives, and deplore with them the unexpected and untimely death of William W. Conway.Resolved, That out o.f respect to the memory, of the departed, we will unite with the Qdd Fellows in accompanying is^remains'Ko their last resting place.
