TUESDAY, DEC. 22.'The Speaker was summoned to the House of Peers, On his return, he info rmed the House that the Royal Assent had been givento several Bills (For which, see Lords.)-The Speaker informed the House, tha; the three Burgesses who had presented a Petition, cerqplaining of the return for Great Grm-stead, had nor entered into th necessary recognizances, ami consequently the Petition was 1 st. He also acquainted - he House th;u he Rad received a letter from the Deputy Clerk of tf’p: Crown in Ireland, enclosing a Petition from F. W. Ponsonby, complaining of thereturn for Youghall.'1 he Petition was ordered to be taken into consideration on the sameday appointed for taking.into consideration the other Petitions on the same subject--Lord Castlereagh haying been returned for the County of Down and the Borough ot'Clithcro , stated it to he his intention to stand forthe County of Down.
