At their recent, meeting at Watertown Library, members of Animal Rescue “Foundation renewed their dedication ‘to Provide protection and care for neglected and unwanted animals to assist individuals, with problems concerning animals to raise funds to support the work of ARF members are hard working Volunteers who maintain con stant telephone service, board dogs and cats in their own homes, investigate complaints, seek donations, and hold monthly meetings. : . Since October, 1970 ,ARF has placed 1,000 dogs and cats in good homes. While wasting to be adopted, many of the animals have been inoculated, spayed or altered. Expenses average about 1,500 per month and to-date ARF has had a vet and kennel, boarding expenses of close to $30,000.
