FORT SEWARD — The William ‘Gordons are proud of a new baby daughter to add to their two sons. Mrs. Gordon has already returned home from a Eureka hospital where she gave birth to the child Monday, Dec. 18. The Sherman Berry family is preparing for the arrival of Mrs. Berry’s mother and father, the George Deemers, on a visit dur ing the holidays. James Cole is taking his family to Oregon to visit the Porter Barnes family and Mrs. Cole's parents, the Theodore Waltons. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gentry have journeyed to Los Angeles for a visit with relatives. The George Evans plan to spend part of the holidays in Sacramento with their family. Don Baker and his wife, Eva, have been visiting the John Starks just before Christmas. Their plans would not allow them to remain for the holidays as they had to return to the southern part of the state where they live. Warren Zane and Bob Brack each started to Texas with their families to join in a family re union with relatives. They hope to return in time to resume work and for the opening of school in January Ronald Halvorson plans to drive to Laytonville for Christmas if his family has recovered from the flu. Mrs. Ellen Berry is visiting her children here during the holidays. At present she is staying at the Lonzo Dill home. She journeyed to New Mexico earlier in the fall for a visit with her son, Robert Berry, and his family. The Rob ert Berrys formerly lived in Fort Seward for many years before moving to New Mexico to manage a dairy ranch. Miss Billie Sue Arter has re turned to work in the office at the Lindroth Timber Products Company after a two-weeks va cation. Sam McCune plans to spend the holidays with his family in Sac ramento. His sons, Bill and Dick, are attending schools in that area. The E. 0. Fox family will drive to Medford, Ore., to enjoy the holidays with Mrs. Fox's rel atives.
