He says he has a wager £ I with his boss that he will deliv- a er 500 tons thiB season, and if ( he does his bos* ib to give him Ithe best silk shirt he can buy. I Bert thinka he has. the shirt as £ good as won, but what he will do ( with a silk shirt in his business t a is a puzzle. Perhaps next sum-I mer when the coal business is ( over he will dress up, put on his new silk shirt and take his vaca-n tion. However, this can be set-o tied later, but it is our candid t opinion that the boss had better begin to put away the money a for that new shirt. -kII A lot of Guss coal is comingd here this season, it is good Iowale coal and seems to be giving excellent satisfaction. The roads r- so far have been good most of ly the time which favors produc-g. tion from this mine bb it must ty depend upon the condition of aeveral miles of dirt roads for he delivery of its output. m' The mine iB producing about seventeen tons of coal a day )m now, and Mr. Terry probably ler has been responsible for Belling at- about half of what the mine has me produced thus far this season.
