A lew years ago the city flooded the high school ! athletic field for skating purposes but the j season was unusually warm, and most of | the water that was put on the field drained j into the basements of adjacent homes We j would like to see the experiment attemptediagain for we feel that if the field were not : ^flooded loo early in the season and if the sea- j SOU Is at all normal n fine rink could he made on the field. Nothing would do more to create a lively interest in winter sport than an ice skating rink of this kind, where parents would not hesitate 10 send their children.
