We would commend the action of the County Court, in session at Beckley on Wednesday, when that body decided to continue the case before them in the proposed division of the Marsh Fork District of Raleigh County. The controversy that has arisen between the lower and upper end of the district in the matter of representation on the school board is one that merits the most thorough study, the most careful thought, and the closest application of which the County Court is capable before their decision is handed down. The many sided legislative and political problems involved are intermingled with a human problem of child welfare in a way that renders their disposition confusingly complex.The County Court is wise in its decision to take due time to properly and carefully consider the conditions before rendering their decision in this case. For it is a case in which the power of the County Court is omnipotent, and their opinion stands almost without appeal.
