OOVEIiO PIONEER BEADGeorge W. Duncan, a pioneer resident and merchant of Round Valley, died at his home in Covelo, December 16th, at a ripe old age. He came to Round Valley with his family from Missouri in 1876 and' for a number of years conducted a hotel, after which he was in the general j merchandise business. He was one^ of the most prominent members of j the Baptist church in Mendocino1 County. He leaves a wife and two grown daughters.
