Mrs. Alice Tracis. Mrs. Mary Smith is mother of the plaintiff's husband. Henry Smith.who is a harumare merchant. Mrs. Mary Smith fa widow of Eli T. Smith, proprietor of a large department stcrw | and reputed to be wealthy. The present suit is the second brought by Mrs. Grace Smith against her mother-in-law. In the former suit testimony showed the daugbter-in-Uw and Mrs. Mary Sm.th had trouble over a grandchild. The daughter-in law was awarded Mrs. Mary Smith appealedthis case to the supreme court where it is still pending. A divorce suit started by Mrs. Grace Smith against Henry Smith is also pending in circuit court.
