McCord, is located on the south bank of the Paw Paw river in the northeast quarter of town, and gives steady employment to a force of 20 to 25 men. Their plant nearly destroyed by Are lately is being rebuilt and will compripe all the most improved machinery for brickmaking, run by steam power, with a capacity for 50,-000 a day.The yards of 0. Christiansen Co. successors to S. B. Kimball Co. are located nearly opposite on the river, and have a capacity of 40,000 a day. The best machinery is also here in use, including the late addition of an expensive and rapid brick and tile machine and an average of twenty to twenty-five men will be employed.The product of both these institutions is sold all through the north half of Berrien county, and constant shipments both of tils and brick are made by rail to outside points.BOOTS AN D SHOES.
