DRIVERS INJURED IN CRASH--William Bland Jr. of Mount Dora was listed in fairly good condition Monday and James Crook of Eustis, “satisfactory,” following a head-on collision of their vehicles at 6:48 p.m. Saturday on 44B at County Road 44872. Accord ing to the report of Florida Highway Patrol Trooper R. O. Harvey, Croak was driving a ‘14 van north on 44B, crossed the center line and struck a '74 Ford operated by Bland, headed south. Bland was transported to Orange Memorial Hospital, Orlando, and Croak to Waterman Memorial Hospital, Eustis. Passengers Lee Ann Buca in the Croak vehicle and Lois Light in the Blandcar were not seriously injured, Croak has been charged with driving while intoxicated, (Photos by Rupert L. Chastain)
