F H.A NEWSThe Rosebud Chapter of Future Homemakers’ amateur show was successful. First prize winner was Victor Simek who played “In the Mood” on the accordian. Shirley Stephens sang “Release Me” to win second prize. She was accompanied by Carl Lane Scott, Victor Simek, and Calvin Kramer. There was a tie for third between Florence Warren singing “Rags to Riches” accompanied by Mrs. H. D. Hunter and “The Ship” as done by Brenda Roberson and Delores Wunsch. We are proud of these winners. The Future Homemakers would like to extend their appreciation to the judges who were! Mrs. Jim Goad, Mr. Sim Souther and Mr. Lee Elmore. We think thfy did a fine job. The stage was decorated with red stars on a gray background with Merry Christmas written across the top. There was a Christmas tree on th ■ stage with gaily wrapped packages around it.
