HERE'S HOW—If you turn a corner in a car at high speed, you get the feeling that you’d be hurled out into space were the seat to break This demonstration proves you would shootforward in the direction in which the car was moving. Cut a-paper plate as shown, roll a marble down an incline into the circular wall of the plate and watch centripetal force head it straight forward at outer edges of walls.
