Think back twenty years? would you be satisfied with conditions as they existed then? If present conveniences were sudden-taken away, would you not strive with might and main to help re-f* 11 * -gain them? Think of the phone, interurban lines, rural free delivery, our libraries, and lastly our office of County Agent. Perhaps you remember the stories of the old character who jumped into the telephone pole, hole and refused to have a pole set on his side of the road near his farm.Such acts as these did not stop the telephone. You also remem-ember the trouble and litigation the right, of way for the inler-urbanscaused. Y here does the land investor go now for cheap land? He does not find it alongthe trolley lines.
